We've lived in the area for a while and finally got around to seeing what the great reviews were all about! We ordered via Postmates (although we could have driven/walked, but gotta love the convenience of delivery!) and here's how things went:
-garlic cheese bread: would not order again. It was just sandwich bread with melted cheese. Not that I'm mad at it, I like cheese and I like bread, but when I think of garlic bread from a pizza place, I think of thick, Texas toast style bread. Tasted just fine, just not what we had in mind.
-fried zucchini: so hard to get right, but they did! Not soggy or mushy like some fried zucchini can be. Crispy exterior, soft interior, and perfect with the side of ranch.
-pizza: we went with a simple pepperoni and cheese. It was fantastic, and exactly what you want on a chill Saturday night--greasy, cheesy, with flavorful pepperoni and gooey cheese. It reminded me of pizzas I've had as a kid from little mom and pop pizza places, with the thick chewy cheese and perfectly distributed toppings. Good amount of sauce as well, I'm not a fan of an oversauced pizza.
Overall a great experience! We can't wait to try more. -

Little Sam's is the best pizza spot in the area. However, they never honor the special requests and that gets old fast. We ask for pizza sauce/marinara on the side every single time we order and they have NEVER included it. Last night they even called to verify the online order and gave me a verbal confirmation that it would be included, and of course it was not in the box. They could do better for sure with their customer service. It's lacking.
Needless to say, we'll likely order the Milano with Alfredo sauce again. It's delicious. -

Delish! We stopped by for our complimentary San Diego visit and grabbed a 12" pizza, that fry-salad-thing and some other goodies (I lost the receipt, hence the vague descriptions, sorry). Served hot and fresh. Always worth the stop.

Creep, greasy, expensive college cafeteria pizza. It came hot... which would have been good if I wanted to eat it.

My first experience with this outfit was very disappointing.
We ordered online and included an order of chili cheese fries.
Went to pick up the order and was told they no longer offer chili cheese fries. Not even an apology.
Nothing was offered or made in replacement. I would have been happy if they gave me something to fill in the order as a good faith offering.
Leaving a customer hungry and short of food is absolutely unprofessional.
The pepperoni pizza was short on pepperoni. Shame.
